When we sin we are in sin
and sin will pursue the sinner even with more zeal than
in the beginning. When man rebels against God he is lost
and will be given up to the son of perdition for him to
have his way with them. Some of those who fall into the
trap of sin will do it because they do it out of
ignorance. They have the knowledge within them that what
they are about to do is wrong. Exploring of the
forbidden is attractive for a season. They may become
trapped in their own misunderstanding. There is still
hope for they can still reverse the action by confessing
Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Don’t be taken in by
those who try to persuade you that sin is ok or it is
not sin. Those who do such things congratulate others
who do as they do, for it gives them tranquility
regarding their sins. Do not fall into this trap of
Satan. Read Romans 1:28 God may give
up on you. This decision you have made. Genesis 9:7
tells us to be fruitful, populate the world.
After a time of rebelling
against God, He may elect to no longer attempt to
restrain man from his disobedience.
God will withhold His grace leaving man to be his own
destruction so that man may receive his righteous
judgment. Satan then is totally free to put more and
more stumbling blocks in man's path.
Man who refuses to realize
that God created him and knows what is best for His
creation has a fool for his council. The worst thing
that can happen to man is to be left to his own
understanding. Man in this case will chase after
uncleanness and vile affections are their unnatural
lusts. Sodom and Gomorrah was known for the sin of
homosexual practices. God put up with it for a long
time, they just ignored Him not only did He give them up
to their own sins, but He brought down a hail of fire
and brimstone on them.
Romans 5:12-13 just as
through one man’s sin entered into the world, and death
through sin, so death spread to all men, because all
have sinned 13 for until the Law, sin was in the world;
but Adam’s sin wasn’t
charged to us when the world had no law.
The Law was given to us so that we
would understand that we were sinners. Then the only
answer was that we needed to eradicate our sin. This can
only be accomplished by asking Jesus into our life. He
will remove all sin from our being, we will be covered
by His blood and made pure in the sight of God. Jesus
released us from the bondage of sin. Sin no longer held
us in its gripe.
Romans 10:8-9 what does the
word say? The word is near you, on your lips and in your
heart. The word of assurance which we are preaching, 9
if you admit with your mouth Jesus as the Son of God and
your Lord, and truly believe in your
heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be
saved.
No matter what sin we have
committed God’s grace is sufficient to cleanse us from
any sin that we have committed except the sin of denying
the Holy Spirit. The existence of the triune God cannot
be ignored. So then if we are truly regretful of any
sin(s) we have, then God who created us will no longer
be able to see the sin for it is concealed by the blood
of Jesus. See Matthew 12:31-32
