HOPE

In this evil world we can live victoriously. We are aware that life without hope is worthless. Hope must have a solid base. Our base as believers is in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, knowing that He died for our sins past, present and future. Christ has been raised from the dead and we are joined with Him in life and we are also joined with Him in death, just as He was raised from death so shall we be raised from death. Those who are in the world will die and be cast into the lake of fire, but those who are in Christ will be with Christ in heaven in the presence of God. This then is the end when Jesus hands over to God the Father the kingdom (all of the saints), that is those of us that came to God through Jesus the Son. Jesus must reign until He has put all His enemies under His submission. When He has completed His task, the Son then will place Himself back at the right hand of the Father.

We must be grounded in our faith. Put on the full armor of God. Do not allow Satan to get a wedge in between you and God. If you have no solid ground, then you will be subject to having an irrational mind. Our hope lies beyond the grave. If we just hope to die in order to reap our reward, then we will become miserable. We will not go until the allotted time that is in God's plan. After all we are going to die the physical death, rather it be before He comes for us or not. With the world coming to destruction economically, this will usher on the anti-Christ. Fortunately for us we will not see the anti-Christ in power.

When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, we are given the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. We are told that the Holy Spirit will be within us until the day of our Lord. The Holy Spirit is with us to help us if we will pay attention to Him. When the Holy Spirit leaves this earth we get to go with Him, because we are promised that we will have Him always from the day we come to Christ. Then in heaven we will be in the midst of the triune God. Christ is God who became man, yet never ceased to be God. See (Phil 2:6-8), because He died and rose again this made Him the first fruits of those who had gone before Him. He raised Himself, He also shall bring us with Him. John 5:25 also John 11:25 tells where Jesus said that He is the resurrection and the life, those who believe in Him shall live even though they have died. Also see 1st. Thessalonians 4:13-17 -- Romans 3:23, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. No, we cannot be perfect and we sin all the time. All we can do is to keep trying to hit the mark. After all that's why Christ died for us, because no one could reach the position of perfection. In all our efforts we cannot reach the mark no matter what we try to do. Romans 5:12 tells us that just as one man's sin entered the world and death through sin, death spread to all men for all are sinners. We became a new creature. 2nd. Corinthians 5:17 states it is only Christ that makes the difference. All of the old things have passed away and we no longer have to sin. Jesus must actually dwell in us for us to be a new man. Without accepting Jesus in our heart, the natural man does not change and is condemned to eternal hell.

The old Testament tells of The Son of God in Isaiah 53:11. It is only when Christ is in us that we become acceptable to God. Therefore we can rest assured that we have a home in heaven for Jesus said that He is going to prepare a home for us in Heaven. If that does not give us hope about the future then we had better get back into God's word. In closing I would implore you to do as Jesus had commanded us just before He made His ascension to be at the right hand of the Father, that was go into all the nations making disciples of all, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them all of His commandants.

1st. Corinthians 12:12. The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.

John 15:5. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man is steadfast in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; independently from me you can do nothing. John 15:5. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. (NIV)

First the church is all of God's people. It maters not under which banner they go, just that they believe in Jesus, and strive to follow Him. It has been said that the building that we call our church, is a hospital for the sinners. Well if that is so then I am guilty, for I may be the greatest sinner of them all. We gather together so that we may strengthen each other, and learn from each other.
